Day 43

“Searching for questions rather than answers will force you to look beyond your preconceived limits and build new ideas.”

Our own ideas are in many ways an impediment to our understanding of others, and as a consequence it can easily become a detriment to our success. We must be careful to always approach others with questions rather than swift answers.

Asking questions when faced with new experiences allows you the opportunity to explore the world from a fresh vantage point free from your preconceived ideas and bias.

Be careful though not to approach an experience as just a situation to be solved. The danger will be that you will have already framed the experience as an obstacle, and you will risk failing to understand the complexities of causation if you focus insistently on solving the effect.
